KITCHEN

Any opportunity for a window seat should be grabbed!

A comfortable and sociable spot to sit in the kitchen with understated linen curtains and blue accents to compliment the kitchen units.

KITCHEN

Again the use of a strong green has invited the garden into the kitchen space.

A simple curtain treatment lets the striking pattern and colour of the fresh linen fabric speak for itself.

DINING ROOM

Having worked on three homes for this client it is exciting to reimagine new spaces and still include existing furniture pieces.

These chairs we designed sit just as effortlessly in this dining room as they did the first despite a very different design approach.

The striking emerald of the curtains frames the beautiful garden view and leads the eye outside the room.

DINING ROOM

Antique mirrors flank the chimney breast and the oriel lamps with velvet shades provide intimate light for evening dining.

The elegant drape of the curtains is neat and lean so that the view is not too interrupted whilst the velvet edge braid defines where the interior gives way to the view or patterned blinds.

A soft fresco wallpaper in a plaster pink allows the room a subtle grandeur and the fabulous bold pattern of the chunky linen blinds add a touch of glamour.

SNUG

We added timber panelling to this beautifully proportioned room and emphasised the opening to the wide window with the use of contrast paint colours.

Delicately printed oriental poppy linen curtains frame the window.

Timber panelling was designed and fitted with a traditional dado capping which forms a defining line for the muted William Morris wallpaper.

Timber profiles were carefully considered to link with existing details in the room - always to be sympathetic and highlight the buildings architectural heritage.

We layered soft cotton velvets and intricately embroidered linens for tactile cosiness.

SNUG

A large footstool, originally made by us for a previous home of the clients, has been recovered in a beautiful patterned chenille.

The hand made central pendant with antique brass cross brace hangs majestically but without being overbearing from the chalky pink ceiling.

STUDY

The square room has been encapsulated in dark blue adding drama to the first floor landing and offering up the magnificent view of a large cedar tree - more pictures to follow on completion!
